City of Airway Heights Seeks Citizens to Serve on Several Public Commissions- Airway Heights, WA
The City of Airway Heights is searching for individuals to fill vacancies on the following Public Commissions:
Planning Commission:
The Planning Commission studies and makes recommendations to the City Council for Airway Heights’ future growth through continued review of the City’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan, zoning code (or development regulations), environmental protection, transportation system, capital improvements, and other matters as directed by the City Council.
The Planning Commission meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.
Arts Commission:
The Arts Commission was established in 2021 with the goal of promoting the growth and development of the arts within the City of Airway Heights and advising the City Council and Departments on matters pertaining to the arts.
The open vacancy on the Arts Commission is for a Citizen at Large.
The Arts Commission meets on the second Monday of each month at 2 p.m.
The City of Airway Heights is searching to fill one vacancy on the Planning Commission and one vacancy on the Arts Commission.
