  Teen Activities are open to youth grades 6 - 12. 
Must be currently attending Middle or High School.

       

Hang out with friends and enjoy a variety of games and activities at the Teen Late Night Drop In.

  • All Teen Late Night activities are FREE
  • Current student ID required
  • Sign in by 7:30pm. No reentry after exiting
  • Food will be available for purchase

LATE NIGHT @ COMMUNITY CENTER

Play video games, ping-pong, pool, foosball, and free WiFi in the Banquet Room.

     Date: 9/14             Time: 7:00-9:00pm

 

LATE NIGHT OPEN GYM

Get your friends together and play 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 pick up basketball.

JACKBOX PARTY NIGHT

Grab your smart phone and come play the hilariously fun interactive party game YOU DON’T KNOW JACK.  Use wit and humor to draw and fib your way to a comical wins.

SFCC PLANETARIUM & SCIENCE BUILDING

Interested in space and science? Tour Spokane Falls Community College’s state-of-the-art planetarium and Science Building to learn about constellations, black holes, and exoplanets. Also visit the Science Building and explore the vast and wondrous world of science, as well potential areas of study in college.

ESCAPE ROOM: THE HAUNTING OF ROOM 13

Do you dare step foot in our infamously haunted manor? You have to spend but one hour inside navigating your way through the horrors to pass the final trial of your initiation. Will you join the ranks by escaping within the hour…or be added to the ever-growing list of guests who never check out?

YOUTH PROGRAMS VOLUNTEER

Are you a past participant of Parks and Rec programs? Want to continue to be a part of what is offered by the Department? Connect with the kids in Airway Heights by volunteering for one of the many youth programs offered.  Learn to be a positive role model for the kids, build leadership skills, and work towards future employment at the new Recreation Center. Programs like youth sports, after school programs, and community events are always in need of new energy, fresh ideas, and enthusiasm to make them successful and memorable.

 YOUTH ADVISORY COMMISSION
 AHYAC

The Youth Advisory Commission (YAC) works to help plan activities, trips, and events for teens in Airway Heights.  The YAC also works with teens to help build up college/job resumes, gain community service hours, and improve leadership skills. The YAC is open to middle school and high school students and all meetings are open for general attendance.
