 SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM

For the Seniors in the community we offer a weekly senior lunch program that serves as an excellent opportunity to come in and enjoy a meal and interact with other people that have similar interests and hobbies.

Lunch is only $3.00. Served at 11:30am every Tuesday at the Airway Heights Community Center (13120 W 13th Ave - Airway Heights, WA 99001)

ACTIVITIES
**All Activities are free unless otherwise noted

SAIL - Stay Active & Independent for Life – SAIL is a strength, balance, and physical fitness program for adults 65 and older. Performing exercises that improve and maintain strength, balance, and fitness are the single most important activities adults can do to stay active and reduce their risk of falling.

     Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays     Time: 9:00am to 10:00am

SENIOR MOVIE CLUB – Enjoy member picked new, popular, classic, and documentary movies every fourth Tuesday following  Senior Lunch.

     Dates: 9/25, 10/23, 11/27                                  Time: Approx. 12:30pm 


 TRIPS
 All trips depart from the Airway Heights Community Center and require Pre-Registration

SPOKANE COUNTY INTERSTATE FAIR

Head out to the Spokane County Fairgrounds on Senior Day and get in FREE. Enjoy all the fair has to offer including livestock viewing, amusement rides, arts & crafts, and food & goods vendors.

PINE STREET MARKET & BOUTIQUE

The most unique and exciting place to visit in Spokane Valley. They offer antiques, vintage items, oddities, handmade crafts, tools, and much more. After our stop at Pine Street we will visit the famous Thrifty Scotsman for some burgers!

AIRWAY HEIGHTS RECREATION CENTER SITE VISIT

Visit the Recreation Center while it is still under construction and see the progress of this amazing new facility and all of it’s amenities: Natatorium, fitness center, gymnasium, community space, and more!

 FOOD OUTINGS

Join the Food Outings group and visit locally owned Spokane area restaurants and the amazing food each one has to offer. Van ride is free, must pay for own meal. Trips depart from the Community Center

CEDARS FLOATING RESTAURANT

Opened at the birthplace of the Spokane River in 1965, Cedar’s floating restaurant continues to serve up the finest and freshest meats and seafood.

The Audubon neighborhood’s casual eatery serves up everything from wood fired pizza topped with an over-medium egg (the Kiernan) to delicious handhelds and savory salads.
