 SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM

For the Seniors in the community we offer a weekly senior lunch program that serves as an excellent opportunity to come in and enjoy a meal and interact with other people that have similar interests and hobbies.

Lunch is only $3.00. Served at 11:30am every Tuesday at the Airway Heights Community Center (13120 W 13th Ave - Airway Heights, WA 99001)

ACTIVITIES
**All Activities are free unless otherwise noted

SAIL - Stay Active & Independent for Life – SAIL is a strength, balance, and physical fitness program for adults 65 and older. Performing exercises that improve and maintain strength, balance, and fitness are the single most important activities adults can do to stay active and reduce their risk of falling.

     Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays     Time: 9:00am to 10:00am

SENIOR MOVIE CLUB – Enjoy member picked new, popular, classic, and documentary movies every fourth Tuesday following  Senior Lunch.

     Dates: 1/22, 2/19, 3/26                                  Time: Approx. 12:30pm 


 TRIPS
 All trips depart from the Airway Heights Community Center and require Pre-Registration

SPOKANE VALLEY HERITAGE MUSEUM

The Spokane Valley Heritage Museum covers history of the city and beyond. Telling stories of pioneers and orchard farmers from the old Spokane Bridge to nearby Stateline.

        Register By: 1/15              Cost: $8

RIVERFRONT PARK VISIT

Take a trip down to RiverFront Park to visit the newly remodeled Looff Carousel (unlimited rides), 1 hour on the ice ribbon, and a SkyRide Admission. All RiverFront Park fees covered by registration.

 FOOD OUTINGS

Join the Food Outings group and visit locally owned Spokane area restaurants and the amazing food each one has to offer. Van ride is free, must pay for own meal. Trips depart from the Community Center

MASON JAR

Hitch a ride on the bus as we head over to Cheney to enjoy some great locally grown food! The Mason Jar's Motto is "You are what you eat so don't be fast, cheap, easy, or fake!"

Located downtown in the Saranac Commons, Biscuit Wizard serves up all kinds of breakfast and lunch dishes with all the fixings needed!

BENE'S

Bene's offers unique twists on traditional breakfast and bruch dishes. Bene's prides itself on being the best breakfast in town.

SPECIAL ACTIVITY
All presentations are held at the Airway Heights Community Center

FLY SWATTER VOLLEYBALL

Come take part in this fun variation of the classic game of volleyball! This is a great version that participants can take part in while sitting. Get a good core and arm workout while not having to run around and chase a ball. After the game we will enjoy a great dessert with all participants.
