 SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM

For the Seniors in the community we offer a weekly senior lunch program that serves as an excellent opportunity to come in and enjoy a meal and interact with other people that have similar interests and hobbies.

Lunch is only $3.00. Served at 11:30pm every Tuesday at the Airway Heights Community Center (13120 W 13th Ave - Airway Heights, WA 99001)

ACTIVITIES
**All Activities are free unless otherwise noted

SAIL - Stay Active & Independent for Life – SAIL is a strength, balance, and physical fitness program for adults 65 and older. Performing exercises that improve and maintain strength, balance, and fitness are the single most important activities adults can do to stay active and reduce their risk of falling.

     Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays     Time: 9:00am to 10:00am

SENIOR MOVIE CLUB – Enjoy member picked new, popular, classic, and documentary movies every fourth Tuesday following  Senior Lunch.

     Dates: 6/26, 7/24, 8/28                                  Time: Approx. 12:30pm 


 TRIPS
 All trips depart from the Airway Heights Community Center and require Pre-Registration

SPOKANE RIVER CRUISE

View a combination of amazing homes along with some naturally preserved waterfront. Cruise includes historical and informational commentary.

MANITO & RIVERFRONT PARK 

Take a visit to Manito & Riverfront Park to see two of the greatest parks the Inland Northwest has to offer. Japanese & Flower Gardens, Carousels, & Giant Wagons are the main spectacles of this trip.

 FOOD OUTINGS

Join the Food Outings group and visit locally owned Spokane area restaurants and the amazing food each one has to offer. Van ride is free, must pay for own meal. Trips depart from the Community Center

This CdA restaurant serves up delicious Cajun style food for breakfast and lunch, all with an Alice in Wonderland theme.

Famous Willie’s features some of the best Texas  style Barbecue in the Northwest! All meat is smoked and cooked onsite along with homemade pies.

Bringing the freshest, high quality food possible is what Saranac is all about. Many menu items are vegan, vegetarian, & gluten free friendly.

All presentations are held at the Airway Heights Community Center

COMFORT KEEPERS IN-HOME CARE SERVICES

Comfort Keepers is a Non-Skilled In Home Care agency. Offering in home care giving of all levels from Companionship to Hospice respite care. They cook, clean, transport to appointments, shop or just to get out for fun events. 3 to 24 hour services available.
