 SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM

For the Seniors in the community we offer a weekly senior lunch program that serves as an excellent opportunity to come in and enjoy a meal and interact with other people that have similar interests and hobbies.

Lunch is only $3.00. Served at 11:30pm every Tuesday at the Airway Heights Community Center (13120 W 13th Ave - Airway Heights, WA 99001)

SAIL - Stay Active & Independent for Life – SAIL is a strength, balance, and physical fitness program for adults 65 and older. Performing exercises that improve and maintain strength, balance, and fitness are the single most important activities adults can do to stay active and reduce their risk of falling.

     Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays     Time: 9:00am to 10:00am

SENIOR MOVIE CLUB – Enjoy member picked new, popular, classic, and documentary movies every fourth Tuesday following  Senior Lunch.

     Dates: 12/26, 1/23, 2/27                                  Time: Approx. 12:30pm

 All trips depart from the Airway Heights Community Center and require Pre-Registration

HOLIDAY LIGHTS TOUR

Share in the holiday spirit by enjoying the beautiful, festive lights, and decorations in the Spokane area.

MUSEUM OF ARTS & CULTURE EXHIBIT: TITANIC

Take a journey through the life of the Titanic. Learn about countless stories of heroism and humanity that pay honor to the indomitable force of the human spirit in the face of tragedy.

 FOOD OUTINGS

Join the Food Outings group and visit locally owned Spokane area restaurants and the amazing food each one has to offer. Van ride is free, must pay for own meal. Trips depart from the Community Center

ROCKWOOD BAKERY – The Rockwood Bakery stands out as a warm and friendly neighborhood establishment in the style of a true Italian coffee house. Pastries and soups are Rockwood specialties.

TOMATO STREET – Sprawling, kitschy eatery specializing in Italian & American dishes cooked in a wood-burning oven.

      Date: 1/12      Departure: 10:00am

THE HARVESTER – Located in Spangle, WA this local restaurant buys fresh products to make sure you get the best tasting food on your plate.

      Date: 2/23      Departure: 8:30am
