Here's where to go for the following: Building Department: The Building Department is responsible for permit issuance within city limits as well as enforcing applicable adopted building codes. Planning Department: The Planning Department handles all short and long range planning; provides maps, and develops and administers the City's Comprehensive Plan and Zoning regulations. Community Development: The Director is responsible for all Community and Economic Development activities including administration and interpretation of the Airway Heights Administrative Code governing land use, subdivisions, building, and community services. Finance: Financial operations for the City; Utility Department and all issues relating to finance including the budget process. Notary services are available. Fire: Fire department news, staffing, training schedules for firefighters, and a listing of important roles that the fire department fulfills.
